Unlock Your Workflow With Unrivalled Motion

The StudioBot LT is designed to provide smooth, multi-axis camera motion for live broadcasts and studio environments, the 6-axis robotic arm offers an unrivalled range of motion over traditional pan/tilt studio robotic solutions. With remote operation and the ability to integrate seamlessly with virtual and augmented reality systems, the StudioBot LT is suitable for various broadcast scenarios, from sports events to newsrooms and corporate AV, providing stability and smoothness in every shot to capture every angle with accuracy.

Designed for Studio Production

The StudioBot LT is the perfect introduction to the world of robotic arms for broadcast. It is packed full of features to provide motion that is not possible through other solutions:

  • Supports up to 10kg and comfortably holds studio box or cine style cameras and studio or cine lenses (including manual with external lens motors)
  • Comes equipped with safety features and a tally lamp for studio deployment.
  • A choice of base and mounting for floor, ceiling, or track.
  • Easily controlled via an industry-leading software interface.
  • Provides FreeD positional data and offers an API for integration with studio automation systems making it suitable for integration into VR environments and advanced broadcast workflows.

Ultimate Precision

Consistency is crucial in live broadcast scenarios where maintaining the exact framing, angle, and timing is essential, such as in multi-camera setups or when integrating with virtual reality workflows. The StudioBot LT is driven by powerful software that allows you to create dynamic moves that can be easily recalled through presets. It also features MRMC ‘Push Moco’ technology to hand-manoeuvre the arm into position to create keyframes as part of the move.

Capture Every Angle

When integrated into broadcast workflows, camera robotics significantly reduce the complexity and workload involved in achieving consistent shots. Operators can focus on other critical aspects of production without worrying about manual adjustments. This automation also minimises the risk of human error and creates a more efficient production process. Robotic tools like StudioBot LT help streamline the operator’s role, making achieving high-quality, consistent results easier.

ITN Deploys StudioBot LT In Production Of ITV’s Overnight Election Programme

ITN is the first production company to deploy MRMC’s StudioBot LT as part of ITV’s overnight general election programme on Thursday 4 July. The StudioBot LT is the latest addition to MRMC Broadcast’s flagship range of robotic arm solutions and the most compact robotic arm. Scheduled for release at IBC, it’s the first time it has been used in a live programme of this kind and was used in bridging shots between the two main ITV studios used on the night. The ITV overnight programme was on air continuously from around 10 pm, following the exit poll, through to 6 am on Friday, to cover the general election results as they came in.
